The Cryoconcepts Histofreezer® Flex Kit is a professional-grade, portable cryosurgery device that effectively treats and removes different types of skin lesions, including common plantar/genital warts, age spots, keratoses, and other benign skin lesions. This latest innovation delivers colder, environment-friendly cryogen in a canister that works with both buds and cones.
This product can be used by a variety of medical professionals including pediatricians, GP/FPs, Podiatrists, Internal Medicine, OB/GYNs, Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeons.
Histofreezer is indicated for most common skin lesions such as common warts, plantar warts, flat warts, actinic keratoses, seborrheic keratoses, skin tags, age spots, condyloma acuminata and molluscum contagiosum.
Compared to other cryosurgery devices, Histofreezer FLEX uses a closed system that helps buds or cones stay colder longer and also prevents waste of cryogen.
The removal treatment is quick and easy, a one hand procedure that takes less than a minute and is virtually pain free leaving the patient satisfied. Histofreezer is CFC-Free and ozone-friendly. It is an FDA-cleared, low cost, highly effective portable cryosurgical system. Average shelf life is 2 to 3 years, with 50 - 80 applications per kit. Resolution rate of 93.2% vs. liquid nitrogen at 95%.
The canister weighs 395 grams, is reusable and environment-friendly. Its packaging can be used as a shipper to return an empty canister.
